Unfortunately the Benton Panthers were defeated on their first game out of the chute. It was a GREAT game though. It kept going back and forth a point or two and actually Searcy ended up winning in a matter or seconds with a runaway shot! Very disappointing for the guys but it was a good first showing. It is hard to think that way when your team loses though. I was right that Andrew didn't get to play tonight which I guess is bitter-sweet!
Teenagers, particularly female around the area of 12-13 are SO DIFFICULT! This is SO the most difficult age. (between 12-15) I think that every parent needs a SERIOUS support system, and lots of prayers to raise these kids! The attitude is the worst! I just wish I knew how to deal with it better. Alicia and I (since obviously that is who I am talking about ) are constantly at odds it seems. I do remember Andrew being this way and I hated that too! I just have to remember that this too shall pass. He has finally become "human" again for the most part. Thank you Jesus! I don't know if I could take 2 at this stage at the same time! I love them so much.....that is why it is so DIFFICULT!
Today I have got to get my "stuff" together for my gathering Sunday! I am excitied and so hope for a good turnout! I am also pumped about learning about a digital home company TLC! I am persuing info about that so hopefully I can start helping my friends who are totally digital with their supplies! We'll see!
