What's New?

Well, it has been a long time since I've taken time to write. We've been through Thanksgiving which was good. Lots of great food and good times visiting with family. My sister and her family came home. We also celebrated my nephew's 3rd birthday with them while they were here. He is such a joy! He still LOVES anything to do with cars and told me that he wanted Santa to bring him 10 Hot Wheels cars for Christmas. It was funny because at that time, that was all he wanted. Needless to say, Aunt Angie bought him 10 Hot Wheels cars for his Christmas gift and he LOVED it.

My brother Lloyd bought Rock Band and we all played. It was so fun!

We enjoyed Rock Band so much that Terry Don and I decided that we were gonna figure out a way to get it for Andrew's new PS 3 that he was going to get for Christmas. As it ended up, Frankie and Larry got the Guitar Hero band game for him for Christmas. We all have enjoyed it tremendously!

Our Christmas was very good! Everyone was home and Santa was good to all! We are very blessed and have had a great holiday. We spent the days surrounding Christmas going constantly but this week, the week of the New Year has been more relaxing. Alicia is going to Branson Mo. with the church youth group and is VERY excited. They have a packed agenda for the 2 days she will be gone. Andrew has spent much of his free time playing his PS 3 when he hasn't been playing/practicing basketball. They are in a tournament over the holiday break in Hot Springs. So far, they have been undefeated in the tournament. Terry Don and I are enjoying being off together as well. We went to movies and have just "hung out" together which we don't get to do very often. It's great!

I hope to get to enjoy reading and spending time with my family the rest of this week. We plan on spending the New Year with some friends here close to home and celebrating the start of a brand New Year! We have big hopes for the future with Andrew graduating, our 20 year anniversary, and just having a good life together. This new year will have lots of changes and challenges as a family but hopefully it will be all good!

Angie
